SUPER DUO TO HOST 40th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS

Country Music's Biggest Night and the number one music awards show on television, The 40th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards will air for the first time on ABC, Monday November 6. The Awards will be broadcast live (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET) from the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, TN.  more!

Brooks & Dunn latest "Long Haul" tour features openers Sugarland and Jack Ingram. The duo doesn't choose their opening acts lightly. They think long and hard before picking opening acts for each concert tour. As Kix Brooks explains to X Radio, it's all about the performance. "It's not just based on marquee value. BROOKS & DUNN ON JULY COVER OF "COWBOYS & INDIANS"

I meet the tall, thin, ruggedly handsome Ronnie Gene Dunn at The Barn behind the main house on his 18-acre spread, about a 15-minute drive from downtown Nashville. Warm and friendly, Dunn delights in showing off this 1940s barn that was originally a stable and hayloft. He alone is responsible for the renovation, design, and decor of the stunning building, which houses a recording studio and is filled with Western collectables: longhorns, cowhides, leathers, antique furniture, and bronzes.

CMA MUSIC FEST TO AIR ON ABC

A two-hour, primetime "CMA Music Festival" special will air on ABC, Monday, July 24. The show will be taped Thursday through Sunday, June 8-11, during the annual festival in Nashville. Brooks & Dunn will appear  more!

BROOKS & DUNN DUO SIGHTED ON MAIN STREET PHOTO SHOOT

It seems as though there's no rest for some winners. Country music duo Brooks & Dunn were sighted at the Route 66 Motel on West Main Street Wednesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after setting a record by bringing home their 20th and 21st trophies the previous night at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.  more!

ALL ACCESS REVIEWS BUILDING BRIDGES

Ronnie Dunn is definitely not one that needs any vocal help but he does get some on this single from Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill. They each sing harmony at different times with Ronnie, so it is not an overwhelming presence but just enough to make you think that you recognize the voice. The song itself if a solid mid-tempo about trying to win back a lost love. It has a nice groove and Vince and Sheryl blend nicely. This is a great light follow-up to the very big and heavy "Believe".   more!

CONGRATULATIONS KIX & RONNIE! — Brooks & Dunn, the most honored artists in the history of the Academy of Country Music's awards show, picked up a record 20th and 21st trophies Tuesday night as country music's elite gathered to perform and compete for honors.

The duo accepted the song of the year award for the gospel-tinged "Believe," co- written by Craig Wiseman, and Country Duo of the year. The duo also gave a show stopping performance of their single "Believe" with Keith Urban on guitar.  more!

RONNIE DUNN'S BARNYARD HIDEAWAY

It's a barn, but Brooks & Dunn's Ronnie Dunn's secret hideaway is not exactly rustic. Located on his south Nashville property, Ronnie turned the barn, which was once a 16-stall horse stable, into a posh loft where he can work. "I built it as a place to come in and hide," Ronnie tells X Radio, "when I was in trouble with Janine and I’ve spent a lot of quality time down here," he laughs. more!
