Brooks & Dunn spread holiday cheer - and tears
Check out
Rolling Stones opening act Brooks & Dunntoday on Dr. Phil, seen locally
at 3 p.m. on Channel 4.
Dr. Phil brings Christmas cheer to three folks with stories of survival.
During the show, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn perform their ballad
Believe, which proved to be so powerful that it wrecked a young lady on
set.
"During the middle of the second rehearsal take, the stage manager walks
up and politely asks me to stop singing," Ronnie wrote to his record
label.
"There were six models in the audience wearing designer wedding gowns
(part of one of the show shticks). He said that one of the girls was
crying so hard that they were afraid that redoing her makeup was going
to delay the taping.
"I looked up and the other five girls, about halfway back, were
frantically holding tissues to her face. She was sobbing uncontrollably.
They were trying to save the dress... and the makeup." |
