KIX BROOKS TO ESPN SUNDAY
9/11 BROADCAST
Kix Brooks is gonna be able to take in a little baseball this Sunday by
virtue of his good pals at ESPN. The folks at "Sunday Night Baseball"
hooked up with Brooks between a photo shoot for People and a sold-out
show in Philadelphia a few weeks ago to get his thoughts on the national
past-time, good friend, former Cy Young Award winner and ESPN
commentator Rick Sutcliffe and memories of games that's moved him
particularly, including taking his kids to Chicago for a Cubs' game
where Sutcliffe played -- and that interview will be shown as part of
the Cleveland/Minnesota telecast this Sunday.
Laughing Brooks admits to a little good natured intimidation from the
one time Cubbie, "Oh, yeah, Rick called, telling me not to get too far
outŠ and to remind me that he'll have the microphone long after my
little interview was finished. All I can say to my buddy Rick Sutcliffe
is this: I'm not scared. You're just gonna have to live with the truth."
